Website information and accounts

We try to keep the website accurate and up to date, but small errors can occasionally happen. Please contact us if you are unsure about a product, price, size, colour, delivery option or collection detail.

You can checkout as a guest, or create an account during checkout or through My Account. If you create an account, please keep your login details secure.

Customers under 18 should place an order only with the involvement or permission of a parent or guardian.

Products

Photos, measurements and natural variation

Product photos, colours and descriptions are provided to help you choose, but colours can vary slightly depending on screen settings and photography.

Some of our pieces are hand-finished, natural, recycled or decorative, where stated. Small marks, bubbles, texture, colour differences or variations in size and finish can be part of their character where these are normal features of the material or making process.

Dimensions and weights are approximate unless stated otherwise.

Orders and payment

Placing an order

When you place an order, the automatic email confirms that we have received it; it does not by itself mean that we have accepted the order. A contract is formed when we confirm that the order has been dispatched, or, for click & collect, when we confirm that it is ready for collection. If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we will let you know and refund any payment due.

Payment is taken when you place the order. We use secure payment providers, including Stripe and the payment options available at checkout, such as card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna where offered.

Payment providers may carry out fraud, security or authorisation checks. We may refuse, cancel or refund an order if there is a stock error, pricing error, payment issue, suspected misuse, damaged item, or if we cannot fulfil the order.

Availability

Available now and available to order

Some products are available now, while others may be available to order or need extra time because they are heavy, fragile, shop-held or specially prepared.

Where this applies, the product page, basket or checkout will show the expected despatch, delivery or collection timeframe before you place your order. Unless a different timeframe has been agreed with you before purchase, goods will be delivered within 30 days.

If an order contains items with different preparation times, we will usually send or prepare the full order together once everything is ready.

Promotions and gift cards

Discount codes and gift cards

From time to time, we may offer discount codes, promotions or gift cards. Any terms shown with a promotion or gift card will also apply.

We may withdraw, change or refuse a discount code or promotion where necessary, for example if it has expired, been misused, or was issued in error.

Gift cards are not normally exchangeable for cash unless required by law.

Delivery and collection

Sent by Wye Knot or an approved fulfilment partner

We deliver to supported UK addresses. Wye Knot parcel delivery starts from £3.95 where suitable, and free delivery may apply to eligible orders over £100 where checkout confirms it.

Selected products are sent directly by an approved fulfilment partner on our behalf. Direct-delivery charges are calculated separately using the product, shipment weight and destination and are shown before payment. Mixed orders may therefore have more than one delivery charge and arrive in separate consignments.

Wye Knot remains the retailer and your point of contact for the order, including delivery problems, cancellations, faults and returns. If you are unsure about delivery, collection or returns before ordering, please contact us first.

Someone else can collect on your behalf if they have the order confirmation. Direct-delivery products are not normally available for click & collect unless checkout specifically offers it.

Cancellations and returns

Changing your mind

For online change-of-mind returns, please tell us within 14 days of receiving your order. You then have another 14 days to return the item after telling us.

Please contact us before sending anything back. Direct-delivery items may require a different authorised return address or collection route, so they must not automatically be returned to the Wye Knot shop or to the fulfilment partner.

For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for returning the item safely unless we agree otherwise. You may inspect an item as you reasonably would in a shop; where handling goes beyond that and reduces its value, we may make a lawful deduction. We recommend using a tracked service or keeping proof of postage when returning an item.

If a large, heavy or specialist item cannot normally be returned by post and you are responsible for the return cost, any required estimate or return-cost information will be made available before purchase. Please contact us before arranging a carrier or collection so we can confirm the authorised return route.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Faulty, damaged or wrong item

Email us so we can help

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please email us with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging where relevant.

For damaged deliveries, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and keep the item and packaging while we investigate. Prompt notice helps us resolve courier or fulfilment claims but does not affect your statutory rights.

Exchanges may be possible where stock is available. Please contact us first before sending anything back.

Model cancellation form

A simple way to tell us you are cancelling

You can cancel by any clear statement. You do not have to use this form, but it is here if it is helpful. Complete the details below and send them to Wye Knot by email or post.

Refunds and exceptions

Refunded to your original payment method

Where a refund is due for an online change-of-mind return, it will be made to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or, where applicable, evidence that you have sent them back. Where permitted, we may wait until the goods are returned or suitable evidence of return is provided before issuing the refund.

Standard delivery is refunded where legally required. If you chose a premium or extra delivery service, we do not refund more than the standard delivery amount unless required.

Some online change-of-mind cancellation rights do not apply, or can be lost, for certain goods. Examples include goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed. Other items may have particular return conditions depending on their nature and how they have been handled. These exceptions do not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Responsibility

Personal and domestic use

Our products are sold for personal and domestic use unless we agree otherwise. We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaching these terms.

Terms questions

Helpful answers before ordering

When is my order accepted?

The automatic order email confirms receipt of your order. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch, or when we confirm that a click & collect order is ready for collection. If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we will let you know and refund any payment due.

Can I return an online order?

Yes. For change-of-mind returns, please tell us within 14 days of receiving your order. You may use the model cancellation form on this page, but you do not have to. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can confirm the correct return route.

What if an item is handmade, natural or decorative?

Small variations in texture, colour, size, finish, bubbles or natural marks may be part of the item. We describe and photograph products carefully, but please ask before ordering if you need a specific detail checked.

Do you deliver outside the UK?

Checkout delivery is available to supported UK addresses, including Northern Ireland for eligible products. Some direct-delivery or specialist items have postcode or destination restrictions. If any other delivery is agreed separately, customs, import duties or local charges are not included unless we state otherwise.

Can I collect an order from the shop?

Yes, for eligible items. Click & collect is free from Wye Knot in Builth Wells. Direct-delivery products are not normally available for collection unless checkout offers it. Please wait for confirmation before visiting and bring your order confirmation with you.
