Meet Lisa

A friendly shop owner with an eye for pieces with character

Lisa is the founder and owner of Wye Knot, as well as the person behind much of the buying and curation. She is friendly, practical and always happy to help, whether someone is choosing a gift, looking for something for the home or asking about a piece in the shop.

Lisa created Wye Knot from a love of interiors, craft and pieces with character. She wanted a shop that felt warm and personal, filled with useful and beautiful things she would be happy to recommend herself.

I wanted Wye Knot to feel like a shop where every piece has a reason to be here.

That idea became Wye Knot: a real High Street shop where every product is chosen with care, and where customers can ask questions, take their time and find something that feels right.

Lisa had been visiting Builth Wells for years before making the area home. Over time, she built local connections, friendships and a real affection for the town.

Wye Knot now sits at 27 High Street, surrounded by the independent businesses and everyday life of Builth Wells. The shop supports Welsh suppliers and local makers where possible, while keeping the wider collection varied, useful and true to the Wye Knot feel.
