Black & Gold Pug Dog Table Lamp captures the seated dog with upright ears, folded features and firmly planted paws, all held in deep black. A gold collar and matching bulb holder break up the dark figure, while the exposed-bulb arrangement becomes part of the lamp's expression rather than being hidden beneath a shade.

The table lamp measures 28.5 × 25 × 15 cm and weighs 3 kg, giving the sculptural figure a useful sense of scale. Its cable is visibly incorporated into the pose, meeting the holder beside the dog's face. As the bulb remains on show, its shape will also contribute to the finished appearance.

Placed on a side table in a study or living room, the lamp works best where its unusual profile can be appreciated. The balance of recognisable animal form and restrained black-and-gold colouring brings the sort of playful, well-observed detail that sits naturally within Wye Knot's considered collection, without asking the rest of the room to follow a theme.
