How do I choose a deck for regular play?

Begin with the game you expect to play most often. Check whether its rules call for a particular card count or deck format, then consider visibility, handling and design.

What should I consider when giving playing cards as a gift?

Think about the recipient’s preferred games, experience and visual taste. Checking the card count and deck format will help you choose something suited to the way they play.

Why should I check the card count?

Some games call for a particular deck structure. Checking the card count before choosing helps ensure the deck suits the rules you intend to follow.

What matters if the cards will be shuffled often?

Make handling a priority and consider who will usually shuffle and deal. Clear visibility is also useful when the deck will be shared by people with varying levels of experience.
