Olive Wood Tic Tac Toe Game
The olive wood tic tac toe game turns the familiar pattern of noughts and crosses into an object with its own natural character. It keeps the simple pleasure of a well-known game at its heart, while the olive wood makes it equally at home ready for another round or resting in the room between games.
The story begins with olive trees growing from young seeds and flourishing beneath the warm Tunisian sunshine. After producing olives over many years, their wood is given a new purpose by Oliveart, carrying the life of the tree forward in an object made to be used rather than simply admired.
Designed to last a lifetime, this is a game to keep close and return to whenever a round of noughts and crosses appeals. It makes a thoughtful choice for someone drawn to traditional games, olive wood and objects that bring the history of a natural material into the home.
A more personal find
Oliveart transforms olive wood into one-of-a-kind works of art, and this tic tac toe game brings that approach to a familiar playable form. Its individuality also gives it a place as an object to notice between games, especially for someone who enjoys useful pieces that retain the natural character and long story of their material.
