Large Black Labrador Table Lamp
Large black Labrador Table Lamp is a sculpted resin light shaped as an attentive seated dog. Its black finish brings out the long face, folded ears, broad chest and planted paws, giving the silhouette a strong, recognisable outline. Instead of a conventional shade, the visible lamp holder hangs from the Labrador's mouth and becomes the defining detail.
At 44 cm high and 37 cm long, the lamp has the scale of a decorative tabletop sculpture, so it needs a surface where its full seated outline can be appreciated. It is supplied with a G-type UK plug. The bulb is left exposed beneath the hanging holder, making that functional element part of the overall design.
Its humour is carried by a well-defined sculptural form rather than added decoration. It has enough presence for a hallway console, where the Labrador can be appreciated from the front and in profile. It is an assured choice for anyone who enjoys dog-inspired interiors without wanting something overly sweet.
